Junior AI seeks its first dedicated data hire to build the analytics foundation for a fast-growing, LLM-powered investment research product. The role owns product and commercial analytics—dashboards, churn and health scoring, CRM data quality, funnel analysis—and directly influences product, sales, and executive decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build feature adoption and engagement analyses to identify what drives retention and what is unused, segmented by firm type, user role, and tenure.
  • Develop churn and customer health scoring models using product usage signals and surface at-risk accounts to Customer Success.
  • Audit, clean, and enrich CRM data; build pipelines to synchronise CRM and product usage data for Sales.
  • Perform sales funnel analysis from first touch to closed-won and identify where deals stall and what product behaviours predict conversion.
  • Create automated executive reporting covering revenue, usage, pipeline health, and key anomalies.

Requirements

  • Strong data analytics skillset with hands-on SQL and Python for data wrangling, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience with Python libraries such as pandas and visualization tools like matplotlib or plotly.
  • Experience using BI/dashboarding tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) and event-level/funnel analysis.
  • Experience working directly with CRM data and improving CRM data quality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations for non-technical commercial stakeholders.
  • Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to define analytical questions and implement solutions with high ownership.
  • AI-forward experience: familiarity with “vibe coding” and using AI tools in workflows is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software where usage data is complex and customer segments vary.
