Junior AI seeks its first dedicated data hire to build the analytics foundation for a fast-growing, LLM-powered investment research product. The role owns product and commercial analytics—dashboards, churn and health scoring, CRM data quality, funnel analysis—and directly influences product, sales, and executive decisions.

You will own product and commercial analytics workstreams, produce executive reporting, and provide the signals that inform product prioritisation, customer success intervention, and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build feature adoption and engagement analyses to identify what drives retention and what is unused, segmented by firm type, user role, and tenure.
  • Develop churn and customer health scoring models using product usage signals and surface at-risk accounts to Customer Success.
  • Audit, clean, and enrich CRM data; build pipelines to synchronise CRM and product usage data for Sales.
  • Perform sales funnel analysis from first touch to closed-won and identify where deals stall and what product behaviours predict conversion.
  • Create automated executive reporting covering revenue, usage, pipeline health, and key anomalies.
Requirements
  • Strong data analytics skillset with hands-on SQL and Python for data wrangling, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience with Python libraries such as pandas and visualization tools like matplotlib or plotly.
  • Experience using BI/dashboarding tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) and event-level/funnel analysis.
  • Experience working directly with CRM data and improving CRM data quality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations for non-technical commercial stakeholders.
  • Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to define analytical questions and implement solutions with high ownership.
  • AI-forward experience: familiarity with “vibe coding” and using AI tools in workflows is a plus.
Nice to have
  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software where usage data is complex and customer segments vary.
Why This Role
  • First data hire with real ownership and visibility; your work will shape product roadmap, sales strategy, customer success, and executive decisions.
