Shipping Logistics Administrator IMPORT EXPORT (LOGISTICS admin) Essex, England

Salary: GBP25000 - GBP33000 per annum

Lovely role for someone with experience in managing deliveries, or IMPORT EXPORT or LOGISTICS. You will be trained fully to take on this organisational logistics role and the company will also support any further study or qualifications you may want to do. In this position you will organise and coordinate the delivery of engineering spare parts to customers all over the world. It’s a nice, busy role for the right person in a stable and profitable company in which you will work with successful international team members

TITLE: Shipping Logistics Administrator IMPORT EXPORT

Salary: to £30,000 per annum + 10% bonus scheme and study support

Employment type: Permanent

Hours: 8-5pm (the office is closed between 1-2pm for lunch)

Work style: Fully office-based role

Company: Very successful privately owned engineering company that has manufacturers and suppliers of industrial equipment, located all over the world. The company is stable, financially successful and growing. This role is based at the UK warehouse location

Role: You will be joining the shipping team

  • Liaising with customers to keep them fully informed as to when their goods will arrive, or notify them of delivery issues
  • Communicating daily with freight forwarding companies regarding delivery costs and timelines
  • Organising and coordinating the collection and dispatch of shipments via Air, Sea & Courier
  • Ensuring all the export documentation and other paperwork is correct
  • Providing shipping assistance to Sales Engineers and the Warehouse team

Requirements

  • Some import/export or logistics experience (full training will be provided)
  • Car driver (essential) as there are no public transport links to the office location
