My client is seeking a Product Launch Manager to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of all new model launches. This role is pivotal in coordinating across multiple departments to ensure successful market entry for new vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Launch Planning & Leadership: Lead and manage the cross-departmental planning process for all new model launches, ensuring alignment and timely execution across sales, marketing, aftersales, training, and PR.
- Go-to-Market Implementation: Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies and processes for new vehicles, including but not limited to:
- Model essential processes (e.g. MVRIS)
- Homologation and compliance requirements in coordination with relevant teams.
- Management of launch timelines and critical path activities.
- Contribute to the development of product training content for internal teams and dealer networks.
- Provide input and support for the creation of product brochures and specifications.
- Oversee and guide product filming and photography sessions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in new model launch management within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
- Alternatively, extensive product management experience within the automotive sector will be considered.
- Demonstrable experience in planning and implementing go-to-market processes.
- Familiarity with MVRIS data submission and automotive regulatory requirements is a significant advantage.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
