My client is seeking a Corporate Sales Manager to develop and grow corporate client relationships, converting prospects into purchasing customers. This role is pivotal in managing a large territory and ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly within client fleet policies. Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets, both in terms of units and margin contribution.
- Achieve activity targets with regards to engagements, client visits, demo fleet utilisation, agreement implementation and other.
- Identify and build relationships with and ultimately convert UK corporate entities to purchasing customers.
- Work closely with the Leasing team, Virtual Account Managers, Fleet Marketing team & other stakeholders to ensure all leads presented are promptly followed up on and progress is continuously registered accurately within the CRM system.
- Identify opportunities to revise client pricing structures with a view to maximising revenue and gross profit.
- Ensure all clients are fully furnished with the latest offerings from the brand and fully aware of their products and their key selling points.
- Support with events for the fleet team and customer specific events and activities.
- Act as the Voice of the Corporate Customer to ensure the client's requirements and feedback are represented and actioned appropriately through business improvement projects and initiatives.
- Build strong effective internal relationships with all key internal stakeholders and team members and utilise their experience in all activities.
- Know and have relationships with all clients within your portfolio relevant to your role and understand how decisions are made internally for the clients within your portfolio.
- Support Fleet Marketing, Leasing Team and Corporate Sales Manager in other ad hoc tasks and events.
- Foster local sales growth through the franchised dealer network by building strong relationships, providing support, and assisting dealers in expanding incremental corporate and SME business within their region.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a corporate sales manager or account manager type position with a B2B role in automotive sales.
- Experience and confidence in presenting to and influencing stakeholders at all levels including c-suite executives and managing directors.
- Proven track record in consistently achieving sales and activity targets.
- Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Tenacious in lead follow up and CRM activities to ensure that the pipeline is consistently up to date with the latest updates.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer skills and proficient in all Microsoft applications including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ideally a strong understanding of company car policies and the nuances of how policies are usually formed.
- Full clean drivers' license.
