Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive credit analysis and administrative support to Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions teams.
- Prepare high-quality credit applications, credit ratings, and reports for both new transactions and annual client reviews.
- Produce analysis and recommendations on a portfolio of corporate clients, occasionally in dual-language format (English and Mandarin) for different internal stakeholders.
- Monitor credit exposure, covenant compliance, and market or counterparty-related risks; recommend timely actions where required.
- Assist with post-drawdown monitoring, including loan facilities, waivers, compliance, and legal checks.
- Maintain accurate credit risk management procedures and support adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely reporting of any material excesses or limit breaches.
- Stay up to date with UK and international credit market trends.
- 1-2 years' experience preparing and presenting credit analysis in a Commercial, Corporate, or Investment Banking environment.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including financial statement interpretation, sector research, and financial modelling.
- Understanding of key banking products such as overdrafts, syndicated loans, term loans, trade finance, guarantees, and cash management.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organiser skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Degree-level education; formal credit or accounting qualifications advantageous.
- Experience working with large corporate clients preferred.
- Fluent English required; Mandarin language skills are a strong advantage.
- Ideally more than 3 years of relevant experience.
