This global organisation is a major player in the sector, and its Financial Institutions Department is expanding. They are seeking someone who can support this growth through strong relationship management, analytical capability, and excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

Day Rate: £250 per day
Contract Length: 6 months
Languages: Fluent Mandarin & English
- Develop and grow corporate banking relationships across the UK and cross‑border markets
- Drive RMB‑related business, including RMB settlement, RMB loans and FX solutions
- Prepare, coordinate and present credit proposals (bilateral and syndicated facilities)
- Monitor clients' financial performance, credit ratings and key risk indicators
- Support syndication transactions and enhance service delivery for both bilateral and syndicated deals
- Cross‑sell a full suite of wholesale banking products: trade finance, loans, FX, online banking solutions
- Analyse industry trends, market opportunities and competitive positioning
- Contribute to strategic client planning, annual marketing initiatives and business development activities
- Present financial analysis and proposals to Credit and Compliance committees
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in wholesale or corporate banking relationship management
- Strong understanding of bilateral and syndicated loans, trade finance and derivative products
- Experience in syndicated loans, M&A financing or commercial lending is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition, development and retention
- Strong sales capability with excellent relationship‑building skills
- Ability to structure, analyse and present financial models and credit proposals
- Excellent numerical, analytical and negotiation skills
- Fluent Mandarin is essential
