Are you friendly, motivated, and passionate about making a difference? As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of our Lightwater shop. You will help maximise income through excellent customer service, strong visual standards, and effective stock handling, while supporting colleagues and volunteers to deliver a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience. By role‑modeling the DEBRA values, you will help create a positive environment focused on making a real impact for the EB community.

We are recruiting a Store Assistant on a part‑time basis, working 6 hours per day on a Sunday to help with cover in our store. The position pays £12.71 per hour (£3,965.52 per annum).

What We Are Looking For In Our Store Assistant:

  • You will be enthusiastic, reliable, and customer‑focused, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • You will enjoy working as part of a team, supporting both colleagues and volunteers, and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our Lightwater store.

Your Key Responsibilities As a Store Assistant:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers and donors.
  • Support the processing, pricing, and replenishment of donated stock.
  • Help maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness.
  • Assist with visual merchandising to promote sales and commercial success.
  • Support colleagues and volunteers in day‑to‑day store activities.
  • Follow DEBRA policies and procedures, including health, safety, and safeguarding.
