Are you friendly, motivated, and passionate about making a difference? As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of our Davenport shop. You will help maximise income through excellent customer service, strong visual standards, and effective stock handling, while supporting colleagues and volunteers to deliver a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience. By role modelling the DEBRA values, you will help create a positive environment focused on making a real impact for the EB community.

Our Davenport retail store is recruiting a Store Assistant on a Part Time, Permanent basis, working 7 hours per week, 1 day out of 7, earning £12.21 per hour / £4444.44 per annum.

About DEBRA: We are a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal.

Your Key Responsibilities As a Store Assistant:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers and donors.
  • Support the processing, pricing, and replenishment of donated stock.
  • Help maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness.
  • Assist with visual merchandising to promote sales and commercial success.
  • Support colleagues and volunteers in day‑to‑day store activities.
  • Follow DEBRA policies and procedures, including health, safety, and safeguarding.
