As a Training Champion at Debenhams Group Sheffield, you are responsible for ensuring the delivery of effective training programs to warehouse colleagues. This role involves planning, coordinating, and evaluating training activities. It requires strong leadership, training expertise, and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning and improvement within the organisation. The working hours for this role are 4 days on 4 days off, working 07:00am - 19:00pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote colleague engagement and motivation by offering opportunities for personal and professional growth through training.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including HR, health and safety, and the operations team, to ensure training programs align with overall warehouse goals.
  • Develop and update training programs and materials to align with warehouse operational needs and company standards.
  • Identify and assess the training needs of warehouse colleagues in collaboration with department heads and managers.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations for warehouse colleagues, ensuring the effective transfer of knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure that colleagues receive training on regulatory compliance, including industry-specific standards.
