In this role you work closely with all colleagues within the operation, along with the wider Management Team and support functions to ensure delivery of a first class, professional and consistent Operation. As a Warehouse Team Manager at Debenhams Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a safe working environment. You will play a critical role in optimising productivity and delivering exceptional service to our customers. The working hours for this role is Tuesday - Saturday, 07:00am - 15:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse associates.
  • Create work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing training to improve skills.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety training, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Generate and analyse performance metrics and report findings to upper management.
