The role

The Intake Auditor is an important role in ensuring that Boohoo Group products meet defined quality standards set by Product Technology, Product Safety & Compliance. The role involves conducting merchandise inspections and audits, supporting the Senior Intake Auditor on a day-to-day basis, and ensuring that products held for sale are safe, fit for purpose, and legally compliant in the markets in which we retail.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Conduct post-shipment inspections and targeted audits based on returns analysis and customer complaints to verify product quality.
  • Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from standards with clear descriptions.
  • Record inspection results accurately and generate detailed reports.
  • Ensure products comply with industry regulations, standards, and safety guidelines, staying updated on relevant requirements.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and provide feedback.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of quality issues and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance inspection skills and stay updated on quality control practices.
