Reporting to the Trading Director, the manager works across product, marketing, e‑commerce, and other functions to maximise profitability, support global strategy, and accelerate marketplace growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the marketplace strategy, identifying new business opportunities and scalable growth initiatives.
- Identify and onboard new partners, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Apply knowledge of international markets and customer needs to select suitable brands for each market.
- Work with BI and marketing teams to optimise campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies using data‑driven insights.
- Support the Debenhams marketplace team, manage partner contracts, and coordinate with product, e‑commerce, legal, and studio groups.
- Research industry trends, monitor competitor pricing, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Track, analyse and report sales data, partner performance and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and improvement areas.
- Develop KPIs, reporting frameworks and generate regular performance reports for leadership.
- Plan and execute promotional activities to drive traffic and sales, supporting BI, e‑commerce and marketing teams to push messaging.
- Engage with the group’s key seller portfolio to unlock potential for marketplace growth.
- Act as an ambassador for the boohooMAN marketplace, promoting it internally and externally.
- Travel as required for stakeholder engagement, partner visits, and collaboration.

- Proven experience in an analytical/insight role with a product focus.
- Solid experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure and with agility.
- Multi‑channel trading experience in a fast‑paced retailer.
- Entrepreneurial, can‑do attitude.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with a track record of establishing key partnerships and influencing senior stakeholders.
