THE ROLE
Our Garment Technology team sits at the heart of the business, driving quality, fit and performance across our product range. Working closely with Buying and Design, you’ll play a key role in bringing commercially strong, high-quality product to market - fast. With an in-house lab at our Head Office we’re serious about innovation, efficiency and raising the bar.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Partnering closely with the Buying team to improve fit and elevate product quality
- Owning fit sessions for your product areas, both in-house and at source, balancing speed with quality and making confident commercial decisions
- Managing the end-to-end fitting process, building trust with internal teams and suppliers
- Providing clear, accurate and timely technical comments to suppliers in line with KPIs
- Supporting new product development by working with Design, Buying and suppliers to improve quality and reduce costs
- Ensuring full compliance with product safety and REACH legislation, managing risk and advising relevant testing
- Investigating and resolving non-compliance efficiently
- Contributing to initiatives aimed at reducing customer returns
- Championing quality at every stage, while maintaining a strong commercial mindset
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience as a Garment Technologist in a fast-paced fashion environment is essential
- A technical qualification (degree level preferred)
- Multi-product experience, including fringe areas, with flexibility to move across categories
- Confident and assertive, with the ability to lead and manage your own fit sessions
- Strong technical knowledge of garment fit and construction
- Pattern cutting knowledge is highly desirable, alongside grading and grade rule expertise
- Experience working directly with factories and a solid understanding of production processes
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management
- Organised, agile and able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Open to overseas travel
- Eager to develop and expand your skill set as the role evolves
