THE ROLE

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Junior Photographer / Retoucher to join our expanding Studio team. You will need to be enthusiastic and driven to learn in a fast paced and reactive environment.

WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING

  • Photographing E-com shoots & still life products
  • Retouching both model photography images & still life products to a high standard
  • Ensuring colour between image and physical product is consistent
  • Following the studio workflow procedure
  • Proactively meeting daily personal and team targets
  • Showing initiative and creativity within the team
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties for the teams within the business
  • Liaising with other departments involved with the studio
  • Upholding a high level of quality expected by the brand at all stages of the process

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Junior Photographer/Retoucher you will need to have genuine passion for the role. You will have great attention to detail and time management skills to ensure you are effectively planning your time. You will also be motivated to hit deadlines and initiative to work as part of a team.

You will also have:

  • Good understanding of Photoshop, Capture One and Lightroom
  • Good understanding of editing skin & clothing, with good colour matching skills
  • Good level of Studio Lighting Skills
  • Proficient in Canon Digital Cameras and Profoto Lighting Systems is favourable
  • Strong proficiency in Mac OS
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong team player skills – showcasing awareness of the team’s workload and identify opportunities to provide help
  • Excellent communication skills – be able to effectively communicate with the immediate team, models and other teams within the department
