Your Team
The Digital Experience team is the conduit between our customers and our digital estate. We channel the needs and wants of our users into tangible features, influencing every part of our user journey.
In the last 12 months we’ve helped to craft Debenhams PayPlus+, a Subscribe & Save offering, as well as countless experiments across the Debenhams brands.
We’re a modest team of two UX designers and three Product Owners, so this role can play a huge part in guiding the focus of the team.
Your Role
We\’re looking for a technically capable and insight-driven Digital Analytics Specialist to join our Digital Experience function. This person will be responsible for implementing GA4 event tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM), ensuring data quality, and delivering actionable insights that support both the eCommerce and UX/Experimentation teams.
You’ll work closely with Product, UX, Optimisation, and Marketing teams to ensure we’re capturing the right data and making smart, data-informed decisions across our customer journeys.
What Value You Can Bring
- You will own and maintain GA4 implementation, including event tracking setup and schema planning via GTM so we would like to see some solid experience within GA4 including custom dimensions, events, and reporting.
- Experience with ecommerce tracking, user funnels, and conversion optimisation whilst being comfortable working with stakeholders from UX, marketing, and tech backgrounds.
- You will also have to have experience with tools like BigQuery, Looker Studio, or AB testing platforms.
- You must however have come from an Ecommerce or retail background.
