Role Description
- Raising and processing customer invoices accurately and on time
- Maintaining the Sales Ledger, ensuring customer accounts remain accurate
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Chasing outstanding payments professionally and building positive customer relationships
- Resolving invoice and account queries efficiently
- Producing aged debtor reports and supporting credit control activities
- Processing credit notes where required
- Supporting month end procedures and reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Providing general support to the wider finance team as required
The Candidate
You will have previous experience working within a Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable role and genuinely enjoy this area of finance. You are someone who is organised, methodical and takes pride in producing accurate work. You enjoy working as part of a team, communicate confidently with customers and colleagues, and are looking for a role where you can develop long term rather than using it as a stepping stone. A positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to support others will be key to your success.
Remuneration:
- Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday (hybrid working offered after completion of probation)
- Pension scheme, parking
- 33 days holiday including statutory days
The role is based in Towcester and within commutable distance of Daventry, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Silverstone, Brackley and Banbury.
