Dears Pharmacy & Travel Clinic is one of Scotland’s fastest-growing independent pharmacy groups, with pharmacies located across Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife. Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Accuracy Checking Dispenser (ACD) or Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career within a progressive and innovative independent pharmacy group.

Working closely with the Pharmacist, dispensary team and front‑of‑shop colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high‑quality pharmacy services while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accuracy checking prescriptions
  • Supporting dispensary workflow
  • Assisting with compliance aid and care home services
  • Ensuring prescriptions are processed efficiently through both branch and central dispensing hub models
  • Involvement in a wide range of NHS and private services, supporting patients and delivering an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a current Accuracy Checking Dispenser or Accuracy Checking Technician qualification
  • Have previous pharmacy experience
  • Applications welcome from qualified Accuracy Checking Dispensers and from GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technicians with an Accuracy Checking qualification
