Founded in 2016 by Creative Director Jane Frances and her husband Scott O’Connor, Dear Frances unites directional design and traditional Italian shoemaking techniques. About the role

DEAR FRANCES has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join a growing luxury brand with global reach. As the Brand Content Manager, you will play an important role in the DEAR FRANCES brand team, reporting directly to the Head of Brand. Blending an understanding of the brand vision with an eye for detail, this role requires a creative person with experience of social strategy; specifically cross channel content driving audience growth and engagement. Forward planning and cross team collaborative skills are key to contributing towards the growth of the DEAR FRANCES identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Management
    • Execution and concept contribution of cross channel content to support the brand strategy, including collection launches, market, ecommerce and brand assets.
    • Editing content; combining design, video editing and animation skills to create compelling storytelling across all channels in positioning the brand’s POV against competitors, driving growth and conversion.
    • Lead in cross channel organic content creation to grow awareness and engagement: editing and scheduling for YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Linkedin, Facebook, Broadcast.
    • Content execution for digital marketing channels: newsletters and performance social.
    • Content post-production, including retouch, colour-grade and edits.
    • Design of and ownership of print artwork for events and showrooms.
    • Future proof brand desire; research and contribute to the evolution of the brand’s visual identity to stay ahead of competitors, strengthening our digital presence.
    • Shopify: homepage co-design and execution.
  • Production
    • Contribute ideas towards the development of the brand’s visual identity: casting, styling, prop sourcing, location recess, sample coordination and logistics.
    • Coordinate the production of still life, product and creative assets for social media, look books, PR materials, wholesale outreach and E-Commerce.
    • Manage demands of brand calendar, adhering to project timelines.
    • Involvement in all stages of the process of delivering still and video assets for internal and external usage in a timely manner.
    • Budget tracking and reconciliation.
    • Maintain organised and up to date digital content library.

Key Skills

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
  • Highly versed with content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc).
  • Knowledge of video production, including editing and scripting.
  • Experience with content performance metrics and data analysis.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media & Content Lead or similar role within fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of GEO best practices and how to optimise content for search engines.
  • Well versed in AI for efficiency of retouching and planning.
