Deanston Cooper's client, a leading civil engineering & groundworks contractor based in Glasgow, has a current requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on residential and commercial projects across the Central Belt of Scotland.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor your duties will include:
- Managing post contract commercial tasks on a variety of projects
- Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
- Procurement and cost control of subcontractors and specialised suppliers
- Liaising with operational staff to ensure efficient, cost effective site practice
- Client liaison
Applications are welcome from candidates qualified to a minimum of HNC level in Quantity Surveying who have gained experience working as Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for another groundworks contractor or civils contractor. You will be at a level where you are able to run your own projects and work largely unsupervised. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
