Due to a number of significant contract awards, our client, a well-regarded civil engineering contractor based in Glasgow with a low staff turnover, has a current requirement for a Pre Construction Manager. This pivotal role involves managing the preconstruction phase of various high-profile projects, ensuring meticulous planning, programming, and coordination to achieve successful project outcomes.

Your duties as Pre Construction Manager will include:

  • Leading the preconstruction phase for a variety of civil engineering projects
  • Developing, managing, and monitoring project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved
  • Collaborating with design, estimating, and project teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive project planning
  • Ensuring preconstruction activities align with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations
  • Overseeing risk management, value engineering, and technical reviews during the preconstruction phase
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate schedules and ensure project readiness
