Deansfield is an innovative, oversubscribed primary school in Eltham, committed to providing an outstanding education for all its children. To work as part of our outstanding team, we are seeking a caring, committed and motivated Teaching Assistant with vision and high expectations for learning. Deansfield has a strong ethos of inclusion, and a tradition of listening to and valuing all children and we strive for excellence in the achievement of pupils and staff.
Overall Job Purpose: Working under guidance, provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who require support to overcome barriers to learning.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The role will be in the nursery; however, you may be required to cover other classes at short notice. Prospective candidates will have at least the equivalent of: NVQ Level 2 in supporting Teaching and Learning in schools (level 3 preferable), GCSEs in English and Maths or relevant experience. We would like to hear from you if you are patient, have a sense of humour and are committed to supporting all children to achieve their best.
