The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
DEANES are recruiting for a KITCHEN PORTER. Being part of the DEANES kitchen team means excellent teamwork skills are required, as well as a can-do professional approach to work. (Full Time Wednesday to Sunday at Deanes at Queens, and Tuesday to Saturday City Centre locations)
Main duties:
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery, cutlery, pots & pans etc.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the storeroom organised.
- Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
- In addition to keeping the kitchen & restaurant sparkling clean, you may also be involved in food preparation.
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Experienced in working in similar high-quality restaurants
- Passionate about their work with a desire to learn and work hard
- Keen to progress their career in a quality restaurant environment
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and have the intuition to work alone
- Have a basic understanding of English will be required to succeed
