A fantastic opportunity has arisen for 2 year PQE to 6 year PQE Solicitor or a Legal Executive to join our leading law firm located in Brighton and Hove.
Please note we are looking for someone with 2 years minimum Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence experience, this is a must.
This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of the Personal and Medical Injury team. You will be responsible for running your own case load and reporting to the leads in the team.
The ongoing training and support provided, together with the opportunity to work alongside leaders in their field will make this a good career move for the successful candidate. You will have the opportunity to expand your legal knowledge in this area and develop, gaining invaluable experience.
You will work on a claimant only caseload of high value and complex claims on behalf of a Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners ranked team. The caseload will be predominantly personal injury and clinical negligence, but there will also be an element of inquest work and Human Rights Act claims. You will be assisting partners and senior fee earners with their caseload, whilst also managing your own caseload of smaller matters. You will also be expected to assist the firm with marketing projects and provide mentoring to more junior members of the team.
Some previous personal injury or clinical negligence experience is essential. The role is hybrid but candidates must live in the South-East as travel to clients in their homes or hospital will be required.
You will be joining a very busy team so you will need to be energetic, enthusiastic, work well under pressure and be a good team player. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate commitment and drive whilst delivering high quality service at all times.
