Overall Purpose
- Income Generation
- Assist all departments at DHC in pursuing income generation from diverse means.
- Drive revenue by working to agreed targets and supporting each revenue stream by analysing prices, costs, and margins.
- Support the Coffee Shop, including business analysis, marketing, and promotion.
- Manage the EPOS system, including all reporting, ensuring that the system is fit for purpose and efficient.
- Identify and implement new commercial opportunities across all revenue streams.
- Ensure sustainability and ethics are at the forefront of all commercial initiatives.
- Provide line management of the Events & Marketing Officer, undertaking all line management responsibilities.
- Work with the Events & Marketing Officer to ensure messaging is consistent with the current aims and objectives in the Marketing Plan.
- Ensure that the donations strategy set by the Centre Manager is followed.
- Maximise opportunities to bring in donations across the site, utilising online platforms and on-site messaging.
- Develop and manage the DHC's retail offer, including merchandising, ensuring attractiveness, profitability, and sustainability, utilising ecommerce to increase sales.
- Ensure appropriate stock management systems are in place to manage product sourcing, supplier selection, purchasing, and stock control to maximise margins and profitability.
- Supervise the Front of House volunteer team.
- Act as a Duty Manager, as part of a rota with other DHC staff.

- A good standard of literacy and numeracy equivalent to GCSE level (E).

- Proven track record in income generation (E).

- Working with budgets, KPIs, and understanding of income targets (E).
- Experience of managing a shop/retail/hospitality operation (E).
- Line management of staff and associated people management tasks (E).
