Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assembly Operator role based in Kingsbridge.

The Assembly Operator will assemble metal components and products according to technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.

Daily tasks include operating workshop machinery and tools, positioning and securing parts, performing visual checks, and completing basic measurements to maintain quality standards.

The role involves working on production lines, collaborating with supervisors and colleagues to meet output targets, and following all health and safety procedures.

The Assembly Operator will also help keep the work area organized, report defects or equipment issues, and participate in training to learn new processes or equipment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively, with experience in machine operation and working on production lines.
  • Strong focus on quality control, including basic measurement skills and visual inspection of components and finished products.
  • Effective communication skills for working with team members, understanding instructions, and reporting issues clearly.
