The Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a highly organised and committed Chaplaincy Coordinator to support the effective running of chaplaincy across the Foundation. This is a full-time role, working 34 weeks per year. This role is a non-residential role, however, can become a residential position for the right applicant.
The Chaplaincy Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the effectiveness, coherence, and smooth running of chaplaincy across the Foundation. The role is primarily operational and coordinative, supporting chaplains through administration, programme coordination, event delivery, compliance, and communication. The post holder will also contribute appropriately to the relational, pastoral and spiritual life of chaplaincy, depending on experience and development.
The successful candidate has a clear and committed Christian faith aligned with the ethos of the Foundation, and has previously worked within an operational and administrative support role within the Education, Charity and/or Not-for-Profit sector.
