Dean Close School are looking to appoint a Health Care Assistant to join our school. This is a part-time role, up to 31 hours per week, working 34 weeks per year. The salary offered depends on experience.
We are seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to work within our Health Centre, caring for students aged 2-18 years old. Experience supporting and assisting young people would be advantageous.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Helping the Health Centre Manager ensure the smooth operation of the Centre.
- Carrying out simple clinical tasks such as taking observations and dispensing medications.
- Escorting pupils to appointments as required.
- Holding a valid first aid certificate (training can be provided) and administering first aid as necessary.
- Participating in the care planning process.
