Dean Close Foundation is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance department. This is a full‑time position, working 52 weeks per year. The Accounts Administrator will provide essential support to the finance team by assisting with both the purchase and sales ledger functions.
Responsibilities
- Supporting both the sales and purchase ledger functions
- Processing supplier invoices using our automated invoice system
- End‑to‑end management of allocated suppliers to ensure invoices are paid on time
- Processing BACS and Direct Debit payments to suppliers
- Assisting with the financial administration of all school trips using the trip management software
- Collecting and processing charity donations
- Processing staff expenses and credit card statements, checking all receipts
- Month/Year end duties
- Providing support for other finance department processes and ad‑hoc projects
This is an exciting opportunity for a full or part‑time accounting technician to join our department. We would support the successful candidate with a study package for the role and their career, if required.
