Our core demographic are female Chinese Millennials and Gen-Zers, who are coming to a new country for University or Grad school. We reach over 26M+ consumers through Dealmoon’s website, mobile app, and Weibo & WeChat. We work with over 3,000 of the world’s biggest brands from Apple to Dior. Overview: PRICETRACE UK LIMITED d/b/a Dealmoon operates the leading social shopping community for Chinese expats around the world and is the largest Chinese-American blog with a developing influencer network. Global consumer brands work with Dealmoon to reach the Chinese-language shopper. In 2016 alone, Chinese shoppers engaged with Dealmoon more than one billion times from various countries including the U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and China.

Dealmoon.com launched in the U.S. in 2009, offering shopping recommendations tailored to Chinese consumer’s needs and wants. In 2011, Dealmoon integrated with top Chinese social platform Weibo, expanding its reach to Chinese consumers worldwide. Dealmoon’s Weibo account now has more than 20 million followers. Dealmoon works with 3000+ of the world’s best brands and partners, including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, The Hut Group (THG), Sephora, GNC, Dell, Nike, and Dyson, to deliver a consistently high-end customer experience combined with great deals and products consumers won’t find elsewhere.

In 2017, Dealmoon brought its business to new countries and continued to provide quality service to new markets. The U.K. is one of the key markets to develop. So we are seeking outstanding talents to join our operation team based at Manchester office, working together to build and enrich our new website (www.dealmoon.co.uk).

We are looking for a general editor with a strong instinct for content, a sharp eye for great deals, and a deep understanding of user needs to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-quality deals from UK local retailers and major e-commerce platforms, and turning them into engaging content that drives clicks, traffic, and conversions. The key categories you will work across include collectibles, home, accessories, travel, health, electronics, food, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Sourcing & Content Creation: Source and identify compelling deals from UK local retailers and major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon. Evaluate product value and promotional quality, and create clear, engaging, and conversion-driven content.
  • Content Planning & Trend Integration: Plan timely and relevant content topics by leveraging UK local lifestyle trends, student life, travel, and seasonal or holiday moments. Create content with strong relevance, timeliness, and audience appeal.
  • Multi-Platform Content Operations: Support or manage content publishing and day-to-day operations across the app, website, and social media platforms. Adapt content formats and angles based on platform characteristics, and manage the process from information gathering to content launch.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Monitor content performance and evaluate effectiveness through key metrics such as clicks, conversions, and sales. Use insights to continuously optimize content direction and editorial strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, sales, design, and other internal teams to ensure efficient execution of content initiatives and campaigns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 1 year of experience in content operations, social media, e-commerce, or related fields.
  • Strong Chinese writing skills, with the ability to translate complex deal information into concise, clear, and engaging content.
  • Good command of English, with the ability to independently research and review English-language product and campaign information.
  • Highly price-sensitive, with strong information filtering skills and good judgment in identifying trends and compelling offers.
  • Familiar with consumer trends and user shopping behaviour.
  • Interested in categories such as toys, home, travel, accessories, health, electronics, and food.
  • Familiar with platforms such as RED, Weibo, Instagram, and TikTok, with a strong sense of content trends and topic selection.
  • Strong execution skills, a high level of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Comfortable using basic tools such as Google Sheets for data organization and simple performance analysis.
  • Experience in Amazon deal sourcing, UK local lifestyle, or proven success in creating high-performing content will be a plus.
