About the role

The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Head of Account Management and the wider commercial team, helping to ensure that account management, sales operations and client engagement activities are delivered in a consistent, professional and well organised manner.

The role combines sales coordination, client support, CRM administration and operational follow through.

Acting as a central point of coordination, the Sales Coordinator helps manage actions, reporting, client communications, proposals, pipeline administration and internal stakeholder engagement, ensuring that commitments are tracked and delivered while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Working closely with Account Managers, Presales, Service Delivery, Projects, Finance and Marketing, the Sales Coordinator helps ensure that opportunities, client requests and commercial activities progress efficiently through the business.

While not a quota-carrying sales role, the position plays an important part in client retention, revenue growth, sales effectiveness and the overall customer experience.

  • Provide proactive coordination and administrative support to the Head of Account Management and wider Account Management function.
  • Help manage priorities, actions, follow ups and deadlines across the Head of Account Management client portfolio and internal initiatives.

  • Escalate urgent, sensitive, commercial or service-related matters to the appropriate owner when required.
  • Handle sensitive client and commercial information with appropriate care and discretion.
  • CRM & Sales Operations
  • Own CRM data hygiene: enforce minimum required fields on accounts and opportunities, consistent tagging for New Logo versus existing-client growth, pipeline accuracy and next steps and expected dates by liaising with the account managers.
  • Provide support to prepare reporting packs for Account Management meetings, pipeline reviews and leadership updates.
  • Support the Sales Leadership team with weekly and monthly CRM pipeline, forecast, and booking reports
  • Identify gaps, delays and recurring administrative issues and suggest practical process improvements.
  • Support consistent use of the agreed sales process and Account Management operating standards.
  • Partner with the process and operations lead on CRM workflow improvements and automation
  • Sales & Marketing Alignment
  • Support client events and other engagement activity when required.
  • Work with Marketing to ensure any campaign follow-up activity is completed by the sales team within the agreed timeframes.
