The Worldwide Specialist, Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) is responsible for driving growth and market adoption across the full AAIS portfolio. AAIS spans multiple solutions that currently go to market independently: contact center intelligence, supply chain optimization, AI-powered hiring, healthcare and life sciences AI solutions, personalized customer experiences, secure agentic workspaces, and more. With a differentiated portfolio that continues to expand, customers and field teams need one comprehensive conversation that guides them through their agentic transformation rather than navigating each solution in isolation. This role is that single front door: combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to tie solutions together across domains and ensure every engagement represents the full breadth of AAIS.
This specialist owns the L100-200 cross‑portfolio narrative, including the full Amazon Connect family and all AAIS domains. The role engages with customers and enterprise leaders to communicate the AAIS value proposition, and works with Geo/BU field leaders to drive aligned priorities between AAIS and the field, ensure accountability, and equip sellers to articulate value across the portfolio. The role sits within GTM Acceleration and operates alongside AAIS Field Activation and AAIS Business Interlocks to deliver a unified portfolio experience globally.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of engagement for AWS field leadership across the AAIS portfolio.
- Deliver one comprehensive conversation to field leaders and customers that represents the full portfolio.
- Drive aligned priorities between AAIS and the field, and guide customers through their agentic transformation while routing to domain specialists for depth.
- Drive Interlock commitments at the single-threaded-leader level with decision‑forcing sessions, named owners, deadlines, and cycle‑over‑cycle follow-through tracking.
- Develop and execute GTM strategies that span across the full AAIS portfolio while partnering with domain teams to ensure domain‑specific GTM strategy is integrated into the broader portfolio motion.
- Identify high‑value customer segments, build cross‑portfolio programs that create pipeline, drive acquisition, and accelerate adoption. New products receive GTM coverage on day one.
- Identify and execute cross‑sell and upsell motions across the AAIS portfolio. Customers using any AAIS product are natural expansion targets.
- Build and scale lighthouse engagements that generate proof points, then operationalize those wins into repeatable plays for the broader sales organization.
- Orchestrate field uptake and execution of key sales plays and programs.
- Partner with WW Field Activation to ensure activation content translates into Geo‑specific field‑level action.
- Establish mechanisms to measure adoption, track effectiveness, and feed back to product and domain teams on what is landing and what is not.
- Evangelize AAIS externally through thought leadership, events, and customer engagement. Internally, drive mindshare across AWS field organizations.
- Build out the AAIS cross‑portfolio business development function. Define the operating model, mechanisms, and playbooks that scale this motion as the portfolio grows.
