Our client is a well-established, PE-backed manufacturing business based just North East of London, generating c£30m in annual turnover and £5m EBITDA. Following a period of strong growth, they are seeking a commercially astute CFO to join the leadership team and help drive the next phase of value creation.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the PE investors, you will own the finance function end-to-end - from management reporting and cash management to FP&A, board reporting, and investor relations. You'll play a central role in driving operational efficiency, margin improvement, and strategic decision-making, while also supporting M&A activity and preparing the business for future exit.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong manufacturing or industrials background
  • Proven experience in a PE-backed environment, ideally at CFO or senior Finance Director level
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels in an SME-scale business
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with PE investors and boards
  • Track record of driving commercial and operational improvement through finance
  • Cradle to grave M&A experience including integration thereof
