We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Manager to join our team. This position would suit someone who has experience as a Deputy Home Manager or Registered Manager within a care home or supported living setting. We are looking for the right person to help us further develop our Residential Services. You will support the Registered Manager to ensure that we deliver the highest quality person-centred care for our residents.

At Deafway, we provide residential care and support services to Deaf people with a range of additional needs. At the heart of all our work is an understanding of and respect for British Sign Language and Deaf culture. We actively encourage Deaf and hearing applicants for all our positions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who has the following:

  • British Sign Language Level 2 - Essential
  • Minimum Level 4 RQF/NVQ in Adult Health and Social Care - Essential
  • Experience in a managerial role within a residential care setting
  • Knowledge of relevant Health and Social Care legislation
  • Experience and knowledge of safeguarding
  • Ability to deliver a Person-Centred approach in care
