We are currently recruiting a Female Support Worker in London who has clear speech and is BSL qualified to provide communication support, community support, and independence support to 2 individuals who are deafblind. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate, and confident in communication, and who enjoys building meaningful relationships while supporting people to live life on their own terms.

Shift Pattern: 5 hours Monday, 5 hours Tuesday & 5 hours Thursday

The Role:

  • Help individuals maintain independence, confidence, and access to their community.
  • Provide communication support using BSL / clear speech, including making and receiving telephone calls on behalf of our clients.
  • Support individuals with daily activities and routines.
  • Help people access the community and social opportunities.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships.

We are looking for a Female Support Worker who is:

  • Clear and confident in communication.
  • Patient and understanding, able to work at the client’s pace.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to individual needs.
  • Able to build strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Willing to go the extra mile while remaining within the role.
  • Someone with good judgement and common sense.
  • Comfortable completing simple paperwork and digital records.
