In this exciting role, you will help amplify the voices of people living with deafblindness across the UK by creating engaging content, supporting impactful campaigns, growing digital audiences, and helping to strengthen one of the UK's fastest-growing charities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating compelling content for social media, websites, email campaigns, press and print
  • Producing accessible photo and video content using tools such as Canva and CapCut
  • Developing powerful case studies and human-interest stories
  • Supporting fundraising campaigns, awareness initiatives and media activity
  • Managing and scheduling content across multiple channels
  • Monitoring digital performance and identifying opportunities to increase engagement
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to bring stories and impact to life

What We're Looking For

You will be an enthusiastic communications professional with:

  • Experience in marketing, communications, PR or digital content
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
  • Strong social media and digital marketing knowledge
  • Experience using CMS platforms, email marketing systems and scheduling tools
  • Confidence in creating visual and video content
  • Excellent organisational and relationship-building skills
  • A commitment to inclusive and accessible communications

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Experience working in a marketing, communications, digital content or PR role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a flair for storytelling
  • Experience creating engaging content across digital channels including social media, websites and email marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content scheduling and digital engagement
  • Experience using CMS platforms (such as WordPress), email marketing systems and content scheduling tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Confident creating simple visual and video content using platforms such as Canva or similar tools
  • Understanding of accessible communications and inclusive content best practice
  • Positive relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different teams
