We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager (Data & Integrations) to join ITV Studios Technology and play a key role in supporting Global Partnerships and Zoo55 through the continued evolution and integration of our ContentHub platform. As the Technology Product Manager (Data & Integrations), you’ll play a pivotal role in the ongoing success and continuous improvement of the ContentHub product estate and its associated integrations.

We’re seeking someone who can combine strategic thinking with strong technical and operational understanding, working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, engineering teams and the Catalogue Manager to manage change, drive improvements and ensure the platform continues to support business growth and commercial value. This is a strategic, functional and technical role, requiring someone comfortable working at both a high level and at a detailed, granular level (e.g. to a technical field level) when managing products, integrations and vendor relationships.

Alongside roadmap delivery and change management, you’ll also oversee operational support processes, monitor KPIs, manage and close technical issues and champion data quality, governance and accessibility across the platform ecosystem.

ITV Studios’ UK division includes 27 production labels, creating and producing a diverse range of scripted and unscripted content for a wide range of broadcasters and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Product & Vendor Governance: Working with ITV wide management and governance of Fabric and Flomenco vendors as strategic vendors to ITV – including alignment across multiple Fabric implementations in ITV, Product Roadmap, Governance, Escalations, Quarterly Business Reviews. Representing and championing the product among peers, colleagues and the wider ITV business. Influencing roadmaps of internal and external stakeholders to ensure Global Partnerships’ priorities are realised. Understanding the role the ContentHub plays in the business’s technology ecosystem and working with other cross functional teams to expand the quality and variety of content based on business needs. Planning for, testing and releasing new versions of underlying software.
  • Change Management: Working in partnership with the Catalogue Manager to understand user issues, and working with stakeholders to understand opportunities for the Fabric / ContentHub and Flomenco products (for integrations). Managing the end to end change process from ideation to delivery, using an Agile Scrum framework. Management of a backlog of priorities for the system and associated integrations and driving the delivery of these through internal and external suppliers and processes. Work with business users and stakeholders to define and prioritise requirements for change. Managing test environments and user testing activities, being accountable for the successful deployment of change. Reporting on delivery progress and plans to stakeholder groups.
  • Service Management: Technology Operations Service Management of Fabric and Flomenco as vendors, using Agile Kanban Operations framework coupled with best-practice ITIL services. Responsible for monitoring and improving system KPIs and driving ever increasing value to the business from the platform. Triaging, analysing and resolving technical user issues. Raising technical support issues with 2nd/3rd line support teams / suppliers, managing their responses (timing, quality etc).
  • Continuous Improvement: Managing ongoing performance and improvement to existing and new system integrations. Understanding and documenting data structures and data flows, and helping troubleshoot data issues, including through system integrations. Analysing data, processes and system use to understand pain points and opportunities. Use this information to draft, maintain and deliver a roadmap of improvements to the product and associated integrations.
  • Data and Reporting: Promote data accessibility and self-service for ContentHub users. Collaborate to create and develop self-service data tools / analytic solutions – within ContentHub and via external reporting tools such as GCP and Tableau. Act as technology advocate for data quality culture and standards. Ensure clear data lineage, data accuracy and data integrity in ContentHub records. Develop and enforce ContentHub data governance policies to standardize processes across teams and GP solution estate using data sourced from ContentHub.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):

  • Experienced in building trusted relationships with a diverse group of business and technology stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the role of a technical Technology Product Manager in relation to SaaS solutions and SaaS vendor relationship management.
  • Experience working with system to system integrations and leading engineering teams.
  • Detailed understanding of, or experience in a Media business and/or detailed technical Data Analysis and Integration role.
  • Experienced in media content / IP (meta)data solutions management and data quality management and delivery.
  • Experience of working in a software operations support environment.
