The Group Data Privacy Compliance team plays a key role in ensuring ITV meets its legal and regulatory obligations around data protection across all parts of the business. Working closely with Legal, Cyber Security, Technology and commercial teams, the function supports the delivery of ITV’s Data Protection & Privacy programme. The team operates in a fast-paced and evolving environment, helping the business manage personal data responsibly while supporting innovation and growth across ITV.
We’re looking for a Privacy Compliance Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Global Privacy Programme Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of ITV’s data privacy programme, helping ensure compliance across a wide range of operational activities. This is a varied, hands-on role with exposure to key privacy processes including data subject requests, incident management, compliance monitoring and reporting. It’s ideal for someone looking to build or develop a career in data protection, with a strong interest in applying GDPR principles in a practical, business-facing environment.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end data subject rights requests and privacy complaints
- Monitoring and responding to privacy inboxes, triaging requests and coordinating responses
- Supporting the logging and coordination of data privacy incidents and breaches
- Maintaining records including regulatory registrations, RoPA and privacy documentation
- Supporting compliance monitoring and testing across business units
- Assisting with reporting on data privacy compliance and associated risks
- Supporting the delivery of data protection training and internal communications
- Maintaining and improving privacy tools and systems used by the team
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):
- Experience working in a compliance, legal, data protection or operational environment
- Strong understanding of GDPR principles and data protection requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
