The Resourcing and Development Team operates at the heart of our People function. Our overarching aim is to build a vibrant culture of learning where all ITV colleagues have the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours to be the best they can be. We are a collaborative, passionate team dedicated to continuing to establish ITV as an employer of choice for media careers by delivering forward-thinking, best-in-class development interventions.

We’re looking for a People Development Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. Reporting directly to the Head of Development and Wellbeing, you will proactively plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of learning and development activities across both the UK and internationally. In this dynamic role, you will act as a key partner to the business and HR Business Partners, offering specialist consulting, advice, and hands-on support. From designing and facilitating high-impact team days and development workshops to utilising cutting-edge tools like artificial intelligence for forecasting and learning design, you will actively balance colleague development with ITV’s broader strategic priorities.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and business leaders to co-create and deliver development plans aligned to our overall L&D strategy, ensuring clear pre- and post-programme evaluation.
  • Designing and delivering data-led all-colleague development initiatives, team days, and performance workshops within agreed timelines.
  • Creating innovative campaigns to drive high engagement with our business areas and elevate the overall visibility of Learning and Development.
  • Managing end-to-end relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver annual international Mandatory Training modules.
  • Utilising artificial intelligence to forecast future learning needs, design innovative solutions, and effectively evaluate the business impact of development initiatives.
  • Leveraging data and insights to inform critical decision-making regarding where and how our development budget is spent.
  • Maximising the usage of existing platforms, including our LMS (My Academy), and collaborating with the wider team to support the design and implementation of e-learning principles across the organisation.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):

  • Strong track record of using data to design and deliver development programmes with clear learning outcomes and measures of success.
  • A strong history of partnering and consulting with key business stakeholders and HR teams to successfully identify, design, and implement appropriate learning interventions.
  • Direct experience owning and developing overall operational relationships with third-party suppliers and content providers.

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria):

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight timelines to manage multiple projects, priorities, and budgets, with clear controls to keep projects on track.
  • Strong working knowledge of how to run highly engaging virtual workshops, webinars, and digital classrooms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence and present to all levels of management.
  • Preferable experience and working knowledge of Oracle Fusion and Articulate, alongside experience using psychometric tools.
  • A proactive, methodical, and independent approach to planning and prioritising workloads, while remaining a brilliant team player.
  • Comfortable navigating high levels of change and ambiguity, with a commitment to bringing in external best practices to ensure projects remain best-in-class.

Please note, on occasion we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date. We’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible if interested.
