As our Team Assistant, you’ll be the dependable core of our daily rhythm, keeping things running smoothly and seamlessly under the guidance of our PA & Office Coordinator.

The role
- Working closely with the PA & Office Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the office and team schedules.
- Supporting the development team administratively as and when required.
- Assist with Float management / expenses clearing and Purchase Orders/ liaising with Finance teams where appropriate.
- Client and contributor hospitality including organising catering, collecting lunch orders, and carrying out ad-hoc shop and post office runs, ensuring meeting rooms are prepared and guests are well looked after.
- Assist with booking travel and accommodation when required.
- General administration duties.
- Crew availability checks and update any relevant databases & Shared Drives.
- Being responsible for maintaining the cupboards and keeping a safe and tidy working environment (including kitchen facility).
- Carry out various day-to-day administrative duties, office maintenance tasks, and general team support as reasonably required to maintain an efficient and welcoming environment.
- Undertake additional administrative, operational, or location-based tasks as requested by editorial or production management to support the wider team.
- Must have the ability to take on senior management diary responsibilities of PA & Office Coordinator in their absence such as annual leave.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- You’ll have a TV-related degree / equivalent experience or qualifications.
- A keen interest and passion for scripted TV production and development
- An effective communicator with a positive can-do attitude
- Very flexible in approach to changing priorities and requirements
- An ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise workload
- Work effectively as a part of a team but also with a strong inclination to take initiative and tackle problems independently
- Initiative and enthusiasm in their problem solving of daily tasks.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work with discretion to maintain confidentiality of important production information/details.
- Demonstrable strong IT skills and knowledge of Google applications (Google Suite, Word and Excel)
- Demonstrable understanding of effective customer service
- Excellent organisation skills and experience of working to tight deadlines
