Role
We’re looking for an experienced RTR Manager to join ITV on a 12-month contract to lead our Core Accounting team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of delivering accurate and timely financial reporting by managing and improving high volume, end-to-end core accounting processes. You’ll champion a culture of digital transformation and continuous improvement, driving automation and efficiency through the use of Oracle Fusion and other tools. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Core Accounting team within RTR, delivering high volume accounting transactions accurately to tight deadlines across ITV’s UK divisions.
- Ensure core accounting processes are consistent, documented, compliant, and automated.
- Ensure tight controls, full support documentation and adherence to standards in all Core accounting activities.
- Deliver to SLAs, hit KPIs.
- Lead and support ERP system testing, SaaS releases, and enhancements (Oracle Fusion).
- Promote a digital-first mindset and drive continuous improvement and automation.
- Increase system knowledge and leverage Oracle Fusion capabilities.
- Effectively collaborate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and support Finance Operations.
- Set team priorities and manage workloads effectively.
- Develop, coach, and support the professional growth of team members.
- Lead the team in line with company values and behaviours.
- Foster a motivated, high-performing, and cohesive team environment.
- Conduct regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and align team goals with wider strategies.
- Actively contribute to RTR team meetings and support the Head of Department as needed.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong people and process management experience.
- Experienced in core accounting processes within a transactional service centre.
- Proven RTR leadership experience in a management role.
- Proficient in accounting systems, ideally Oracle Fusion.
