The team in Group Finance supports teams across the whole of ITV, helping them create content and products that millions of people interact with every single day. To enhance our support, last year, ITV restructured its Third Party Payments team, shifting towards a compliance-focused approach to drive change, ensure policy adherence, and optimise workflow efficiency making the purchase to pay process seamless.
The role involves:
- Leading and developing a team of 7 across Expenses, Master Data, and Purchasing Support.
- Ensuring strong understanding and consistent application of end-to-end P2P processes and policies.
- Running and analysing reports to identify inconsistencies, risks, and non-compliance.
- Turning data insights into clear actions and tracking delivery across the team.
- Overseeing policy compliance, audits, and corrective actions.
- Creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and efficient process documentation.
- Designing and delivering training on expenses and purchasing compliance.
- Partnering with internal teams (Tax, HR, R2R) to align controls and information.
- Monitoring performance, driving efficiency improvements, and supporting onboarding.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships to drive continuous improved compliance and change.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):
- Significant experience leading PTP teams with a strong understanding of the end-to-end requisition to pay process.
- Ability to create, analyse, and present large data sets across all levels of an organisation.
- Experience of working in a continuous improvement and a compliance controlled environment.
- Experience of managing multiple sub-teams with the ability to quickly shift focus to key priorities or demands.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria):
- Proven experience working with Finance ERP systems, ideally Oracle Fusion, within an AP / P2P environment.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and MS Office, with confidence in reporting and analysis.
- Experience operating in a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end Purchase to Pay processes.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a clear passion for coaching, developing, and engaging teams.
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
- Experience using data visualisation and reporting to communicate insights and influence decisions.
- Proven ability to navigate, improve, and simplify complex processes.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with curiosity and drive to challenge the status quo.
- Confident presentation and communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong risk awareness, with the ability to assess impact and implement effective controls.
- Highly organised, with strong time management and prioritisation skills in a changing environment.
- Resilient and adaptable, comfortable managing process and business change.
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships across teams and senior stakeholders.
