We work closely with senior stakeholders and project teams to make sure initiatives stay on track and deliver real business value.
We’re looking for a practical and organised PMO Lead – Finance to join us on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Head of Finance Continuous Improvement, you’ll support the delivery of key projects under our Corporate Simplification programme. Your role will be to keep projects running smoothly — tracking progress, managing risks and making sure stakeholders have clear, accurate updates. You’ll work closely with project leads and senior stakeholders to ensure plans are realistic, actions are followed up and reporting is clear and timely. This is ideal for someone with experience supporting finance transformation or change projects who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex initiatives.
Key day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining clear project plans and tracking milestones

- Tracking project KPIs and progress against agreed timelines
- Coordinating updates from workstream leads to ensure reporting is accurate and on time
- Supporting governance processes, including maintaining documentation and decision logs
- Preparing clear status updates and reports for senior stakeholders
- Working with the Change Manager to support communications to the wider business
- Providing general project administration support (meetings, agendas, actions and follow-ups)
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):
- Proven PMO or portfolio support experience, ideally within finance or transformation projects
- Strong organisational skills with experience tracking plans, risks and progress
- Confident using project tools (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet) and Google Suite
- Ability to produce clear, concise reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria):
- Clear and confident communicator, able to build strong working relationships
- Calm and structured, even when working at pace or managing multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
- Proactive and comfortable working independently
- Practical and solutions-focused, not overly process-heavy
- Comfortable challenging timelines or highlighting risks when needed
- Collaborative approach, working effectively across Finance, HR and Tech
- Interest in improving processes and helping teams work more efficiently
