The Royalty Payments team is responsible for reporting to producers, broadcasters, other stakeholders, and contributors for their shares of the profit that is generated from these sales. The team is part of central Finance Operations and provides support to most business areas across ITV. The Royalty Payments team collaborates closely with colleagues in Talent Payments, Rights, Business Affairs and Finance.

We’re looking for experienced and passionate Royalty Statement Specialists to join us on a fixed term contract, mainly supporting a project. In this key role, you’ll help drive the accuracy, transparency and efficiency of our royalty reporting processes, ensuring partners, contributors and talent are paid correctly and on time. Reporting into the relevant Project Manager, you’ll play a vital part in managing end-to-end royalty reporting, interpreting complex contracts, resolving data queries, and contributing to process improvements as our systems continue to evolve. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a high-profile function while supporting the delivery of some exciting, business-critical initiatives.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare, calculate and issue accurate royalty statements in line with contractual terms, usage data and sales or distribution reports.
  • Review, interpret and apply licensing, publishing and distribution agreements to ensure calculations meet contractual obligations.
  • Collect, validate and reconcile usage data from multiple sources (e.g., sales reports, streaming data, third-party statements) to support robust and accurate reporting.
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues collaboratively with finance, legal, operations, external contributors and suppliers.
  • Maintain and update royalty schedules, databases and records to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.
  • Support month-end planning and deadlines by preparing required reports, reconciliations and documentation.
  • Respond to queries from talent, agents, partners and internal teams with clarity and professionalism.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting materials, reconciliations and explanations as required.
  • Contribute to process and system improvements across data handling, reporting workflows and wider team efficiencies.
  • Ensure all reporting activity complies with organisational policies, contractual requirements and industry standards.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):

  • Proven experience in royalty accounting, finance, licensing, publishing, or similar data-heavy reporting roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (including lookups, pivot tables and complex formulas) with demonstrable data analysis skills.
  • Experience creating detailed royalty statements and/or managing end-to-end royalty reporting.
