We have an exciting opportunity to become a key member of ITV GP Global Content Scripted team. The Global Content Manager, Scripted will be responsible for managing long‑term key relationships with assigned in‑house and third‑party drama production companies and to work collaboratively with the rest of the team to effectively maintain and grow the ITV GP pipeline of internationally adored scripted content for ITV GP. The primary purpose of this role is to build and maintain one‑on‑one effective relationships, delivering a high level of satisfaction with assigned scripted Production companies on behalf of ITV GP. This includes conducting regular status and strategy meetings with your scripted producers, analysing their needs, displaying a high level of knowledge of the international drama market and using that knowledge to bring value to the producer relationships.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Proactively build and maintain one‑on‑one effective and positive relationships, delivering high levels of satisfaction at a senior level with assigned scripted Production companies on behalf of ITV GP.
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with your scripted producers.
  • Analyse their needs and display a high level of knowledge of the international drama market.
  • Propose and create strategic finance plans for scripted projects alongside Sales colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Global Scripted team to build and maintain relationships with global producers to track and bring new third party drama projects into ITV GP.
  • Effectively manage the work and growth of any direct reports.
  • Assess and evaluate scripted materials for commercial value.
  • Negotiate Distribution Agreements.
  • Follow content and partner relationships through full end to end, including delivery, launch, sales feedback.
  • Represent scripted projects internally at presentations with Sales, Marketing, Acquisitions, Research, Finance.
  • Handle sensitive information and deal with other confidential matters.
  • Produce presentations and team materials as required.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships both with external clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and passion for scripted TV content.
  • Knowledge of the international scripted business.
  • Commercial acumen, able to evaluate and present appropriate commercial plans.
  • Experience negotiating distribution agreements and financing arrangements.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate scripted materials for commercial value.
  • Handling of sensitive information and dealing with other confidential matters.
  • Produce presentations and team materials as required.
  • Effectively manage and support the development of any direct reports.

Candidates should have experience across a variety of backgrounds, including acquisitions, TV, rights.
