The Role
As Head of Regulatory & Strategic Reporting, you will be pivotal in ensuring ITV’s continued compliance with a complex and evolving landscape of regulatory quotas, commitments, and critical reporting requirements across our portfolio of television channels and on-demand services. This includes compliance for areas such as levels of independent production, out-of-London production, news and current affairs programming and access services (e.g. subtitling, signing, and audio description). It is crucial that ITV complies with these requirements through careful planning, forecasting and monitoring. The role also encompasses obligations to report content, contributor and performance information to external partner organisations including PRS for Music, Equity, and the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Leading the forecasting and monitoring of performance against all quotas and commitments.
- Ensuring compliance by proactively identifying risks, investigating potential mitigations with stakeholders and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensuring accurate reporting to the regulator, Ofcom.
- Managing the accurate reporting of content, contributor, and performance information to partner organisations (such as PRS for Music, Equity, etc.).
- Driving continuous improvements in data quality, operational processes, business systems and reporting.
You will navigate a dynamic environment as quotas, commitments, and reporting requirements evolve in view of the increased importance of on-demand services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven project management and problem‑solving abilities to effectively manage multiple requests, deadlines and complex issues.

- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to swiftly interpret data, draw sound conclusions and summarise results to pinpoint issues and propose solutions.

- Expertise in using various reporting tools and software.
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, using data to inform decisions.
