The role involves reporting to the Head of Conversion Marketing and focuses on driving growth of ITVX through maximising the effectiveness of digital marketing activities to achieve business targets of Monthly Active Users and ITVX Premium subscribers. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for converting and retaining viewers on ITVX, using data-driven insights to understand the success of activities and inform future plans. This role requires championing testing, optimisations, and best practices through digital marketing channels by partnering with Media and Creative teams. Cross-functional collaboration is essential to ensure fully integrated campaigns.
Main responsibilities:
- Execute the Conversion Marketing strategy through an integrated plan that delivers on marketing outcomes.
- Responsible for creating and delivering effective and efficient targeted marketing campaigns, leveraging the right channel mix within paid and owned media.
- Use insights to inform targeting strategy focused on reactivating and retaining viewers by increasing their frequency.
- Work closely with media and agency counterparts to manage budgets, modelling, and forecasting to meet targets.
- Report weekly and monthly on Marketing performance, delivering insights clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Media Capability team to leverage data for more effective audience reach.
- Partner with the Head of Conversion and ITVC to create, manage, and deliver personalised and relevant targeted communications at scale.
- Build on ways of working with the Brand and Campaigns team to ensure Brand DNA is clear in communications and that Conversion campaigns complement Single Show moments.
- Deliver best-in-class quarterly briefs that drive innovation, effectiveness, and champion testing to optimise budget use.
- Work with Media and Creative strategy teams to constantly optimise and deliver insight-led briefs that enhance performance.
- Collaborate with the Product team to understand, optimise, and improve Marketing journeys across all devices.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):
- Commercial acumen and understanding of how marketing can drive business performance.
- Experience of media channel usage to drive performance, demonstrating an understanding of the viewer journey.
- Understanding of all types of media, with experience in digital and data marketing techniques to drive growth in MAUs, streaming hours, and subscriptions.
- Understanding of using 1st and 3rd party data to improve media targeting and performance.
- Highly numerate with the ability to make data simple and accessible to all.
