DEA are looking for an experienced B2 Licensed Engineer on a permanent basis. DEA is a full-service aircraft operator with extensive ISR flight capability backed up by a skilled in-house aviation engineering team. This powerful combination puts us at the forefront of our industry, both in the air and on the ground. It also ensures we can deploy and support quickly and efficiently, even in the world’s most challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on maintenance of designated aircraft.
- Work closely with the CAMO ensuring airworthiness compliance.
- Manage and support AOG enquiries.
- Ensure that all maintenance performed is in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Optimise the daily production and ensure on-time delivery of aircraft in Gamston by allocating the available resources based on the agreed business priorities.
- Provide AOG technical support to company and 3rd party aircraft and give general technical support to aircraft operators and owners.
- Ensure all requested maintenance is performed in compliance with regulatory and company policy.
- On occasion, work away from Gamston to support DEA Aircraft in UK and overseas.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Hold UK CAA Part-66 AML Licence B2 with Group 3 and/or King Air type ratings.
- Continually build knowledge of Part-145, Part-M requirements and national regulations.
- Utilise Microsoft Office / Google Workspace knowledge when required including learning DEA's maintenance program/s.
- Supervise maintenance checks in Part-145 environment.
- Continually manage pressure, conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and managerial competency.
- Maintain a positive attitude to work and operate as part of a team with the ability to motivate colleagues with enthusiasm.
- Remain calm under pressure and encourage others to do the same.
- Adopt a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Apply strategic thinking and analysis to problem solving by gathering & analysing relevant information to balance cost, benefit, and risk implications.
- Excellent organisational skills.
