A qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) will administer skilled nursing care to residents at Dodge Park Rest Home, following physician orders and care plans under supervision. Services are provided in accordance with facility policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an approved practical (vocational) nursing program and licensed in MA.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred; new graduates with CNA/Caregiver experience considered.
- Aligned with Dodge Park Rest Home's philosophy and goals.
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow policies and implement care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor and report residents' conditions.
- Educate residents and families on care needs.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Participate in meetings and training.
- Take on-call duties as scheduled.
- Assist with resident care and procedures as needed.
JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
- Supervised by: Director of Nursing
LIFTING REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to participate in physical activities, including lifting and bending.
SALARY: LPN $33-34/hr, RN $38-40/hr, with shift differentials of .75 (1st shift), 1.50 (2nd shift), 2.00 (3rd shift).
