Do you have Bar experience? Are you ready for a Supervisory role? De Vere Wokefield Estate in Reading are recruiting a Bar Supervisor to support and guide our team of Bar Tenders. Our Bar Team plays a key role in making sure our guests have a memorable and enjoyable visit to the hotel.

As the Bar Supervisor you will take a lead role on the bar creating and serving drinks and engaging with our guests on a daily basis. You will also work closely with colleagues to help develop their skills and knowledge as well as keeping the bar area clean and well stocked at all times.

This role involves working a variety of shifts including weekends on a rota basis.

Your skills & experience:

  • You have bar experience and ideally some experience of supervising others.
  • You are confident and guest focused and through an intuitive approach deliver exceptional levels of guest service, making everyone feel welcome.
  • You are an excellent organiser, with a professional attitude and are able to delegate to others effectively.
  • You will ideally be familiar with booking systems such as Open Table although this is not essential as training can be provided.
